The Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) has an outstanding national and international reputation for clinical audit and clinical and health services research. By joining our committed and passionate team, you’ll be helping healthcare providers to develop the most effective care and treatment for critically ill patients.
Currently, NHS adult intensive care units in England, Wales and Northern Ireland submit their outcome data to ICNARC for comparative analysis. In addition, we conduct a broad portfolio of high profile national and international research studies in our registered clinical trials unit.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to join our Finance and Resources team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Resources, you will play an important role in ensuring that ICNARC’s finances are managed effectively and specifically support the monitoring and reporting of long-term research grants and projects.

In order to succeed, it is essential that you have extensive experience in project reporting, management accounting and working in a finance team. You will have strong Excel modelling skills that can be demonstrated by CV, interview and assessment. You are also part-qualified/qualified in an accountancy qualification or part- qualified/qualified by accounting experience. Charity experience is desirable but not essential.
In return you will receive an annual salary of £28-32k (pro-rata to part-time hours agreed), working for a well-established not for profit in the centre of London. You will also receive a generous benefits package.
